Highly integrated centre wing box

 

The project has delivered a 3.2-meter-span OWB demonstrator that embodies the next generation of lightweight, cost-efficient wing design. The high aspect ratio (HAR) structure incorporates an innovative hybrid architecture, combining metallic closure ribs, thermoplastic internal ribs, a thermoplastic stiffened lower panel, fast-curing prepreg spars, and an infusion-molded skin panel.
