D1-2 Advanced Centre Wing Box Demonstrator 

Integration and Manufacturing challenges

 

HERWINGT is advancing hybrid-electric aircraft integration through a semi-pylon-to-pylon multi-spar centre wing box demonstrator. Manufactured using one-shot Liquid Resin Infusion (LRI), the highly integrated structure consolidates skins, spars, stringers, and stiffeners into a HAR-configured design. The demonstrator will validate multi-spar architectures, assess manufacturing constraints, and support the structural maturation of next-generation aircraft.
