With a turnover in 2021 of 280 million euros, the company has two lines of business; design, manufacture, and assembly of aerostructures (i.e., wing assemblies, fuselage, empennage, etc); and the manufacture of engine components: primary structures, casings, rings, and high precision machining.
Its customers include the main manufacturers in the sector: Airbus, Airbus Defense and Space, Boeing, Embraer, Deutsche Aircraft, Lilium, Safran Landing Systems, Safran Aircraft Engines, ITP Aero, and Rolls Royce.
The company currently has over 2,300 employees and work centers in Spain (Andalusia, Castile and Leon, Madrid, and the Basque Country), Portugal, Brazil, and France. The company covers the whole product value chain from conceptual design to customer support, developing manufacturing and assembly processes in a wide range of technologies covering additive manufacturing, composite and metallic materials. Following presence in Clean Sky as a beneficiary and in Clean Sky 2 as a Core Partner, the leadership of a major project in Clean Aviation exemplifies the ambition of Aciturri in having a major role in the de-carbonization of the aviation segment through the introduction of innovative and disruptive solutions.
Aciturri is performing several years ago an important activity in the development of Out of Autoclave (OoA) solutions, including thermoplastic technologies. Aligned with these technology development lines, Aciturri leads several national R&D-supported projects addressing different types of solutions.
